If your account is in the 5 former associate banks of State Bank of India, then there is work news for you. Indian State Bank has urged its 5 associate banks and Indian women bank customers to apply for a new check book instantly as after 30th September old bank check will not be approved and will be unemployed.
We request clients of SBI's to the former associate banks and Indian women bank to apply for new SBI Cheque books.
Indian State Bank has told the customers that if they have not yet filed for SBI's new checkbook, please immediately because the old checkbook and IFS code will be invalid after 30 September.
State Bank has requested the customers to apply for a new checkbook in internet banking, mobile banking or ATMs.
It is notable that from 1st April, 2017, the State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Patiala, State Bank of Travancore and Indian Women Bank have been merged in the State Bank of India from 1 April 2017.
